Many of our clients come to us saying , “I have been to so many doctors , tried so many products, why haven’t I got the results?” The first and most important thing that you need to understand while treating acne or melasma is they are both chronic skin conditions. Let me explain it to you further. For example, If someone has diabetes all of us are aware that our diabetes is under control as long as we take insulin. We will start seeing fluctuation when we stop taking insulin and watching our diet. Similarly, while treating melasma and acne both skin conditions will start to get back to how it was if you stop taking care of it .
We need to understand the fact that they are long term skin conditions. Your results won’t stay life long after taking medication or treatment for a certain time. It is equally important to have prevention and maintenance plans in place for it not to reoccur. Thus you shouldn’t just focus on the treatment but also on the prevention and maintenance after the treatment for long lasting results.
We all need to know that we need to be very consistent and patient while treating these skin issues. You need to follow proper skincare products and routine as well as avoid all the trigger factors that might contribute in making the skin condition worse. It might be different factors like exposure to heat and sunlight, your diet and lifestyle etc. The trigger factors might be different for melasma and acne as they are two different skin conditions. I have a different article already explaining more about it in detail and also have different posts about it in our instagram page “skincarenepal” and “suniraaestheticsofficial” . You can go through them for deeper understanding.
